Strangest Dream

I’ve never been an admirer of the National Enquirer,
Until I went out one night,
Standing in my cornfield – I saw a flashing light,
There were these strange designs surrounding me,
Like the cover of an old Led Zep L.P.
Oh man I had the strangest dream last night.

There were these little yellow guys with their staring eyes,
They took me to their ship,
Laid me down on a cool cool slab and I started to lose my grip,
They took bits of my hair and clothes,
And then they stuck something sharp right up my nose,
Oh man I had the strangest dream last night.

And then I guess they had to fly off in the sky,
And I woke by my truck,
I told my local sheriff, but I was out of luck,
He smelled my breath and he turned he back and said:
“I hope you get a visit from the man in black”
